Introducing the Easton White Horse

Our beautiful 16th century pub is nestled within the Deben Valley, 12 miles from the Suffolk Coast, situated in the picturesque village of Easton.

As a community focused pub we are, of course, a family and dog friendly pub. We have a kids menu, provide high chairs and have a climbing frame in the enclosed garden.

As a free house we can bring you great choice of drink. Our food has a focus on the finest seasonal and regional produce to offer the best in classic British pub food.

Whether you are basking in the garden on a sunny day or keeping warm in front of our fire on a winters day, the White Horse is the perfect destination all year around.

2018... new beginnings

In February 2018 the Easton White Horse opened its doors, following a refurbishment and with a brand new team leading the way.

New proprietor, Vernon Blackmore, is well known in the area for his 2 successful restaurants in Woodbridge (The Table and The Anchor) and he has brought the same style and quality to the Easton White Horse.

The focus of the relaunch of the Easton White Horse is a return of the family friendly, village pub... at the heart of the community. A menu packed full of quality pub food, served either indoors or out in our garden.

There are lots of exciting things to announce in the coming months, please come back to find out more.

The food was excellent with a really friendly welcome and good service. As starters delicious asparagus, wild garlic and perfectly poached egg. Mains were Dingley Dell sausages and a delicious curry - all generous portions. The new team deserves to be a success. We read later on their web site that the new management is from two excellent restaurants in Woodbridge which we like very much.

  • 2nd visit within 2 weeks for supper with friends - excellent food, good choice without silly prices and pleased to see the menu changing regularly. Lovely buzzing atmosphere - definite improvement since changing hands. Good wine selection too. Think this will now become a regular place to eat.

Whist staying at the Letheringham Mill, we booked the local White Horse for an evening meal for four. Being dog friendly, we took Alfie our Golden Retriever. The staff were great, very welcoming and friendly. The meals we ordered were extremely tasty and very filling. My steak certainly hit the spot after our country walks during the day. We would definitely go there again and recommend the White Horse if you are in the area.
